The story of Diego, a young and successful photographer that lives in the glamorous world of fashion, shallowness and excess. A tragic accident turns his world around; his partner is now in a coma. Now, both of them have to adapt to each other; Armando to the unknown, homosexual world of his father, and Diego to the closed attitude of his teenage son.

Ένα τραγικό ατύχημα φέρνει την ζωή του τα πάνω κάτω, όταν ο σύντροφός του βρίσκεται στο νοσοκομείο σε κώμα, ενώ πρέπει να φροντίσει και τον γιό του για εκείνο το διάστημα. Ο γιος πρέπει να κατανοήσει τον ομοφυλόφιλο κόσμο του πατέρα του κι αυτός την κλειστή συμπεριφορά του εφήβου γιού του.
Καταπληκτική ταινία με δυνατές ερμηνείες, γρήγορους ρυθμούς που χαλαρώνουν σε κάποια σημεία για την αποφόρτωση συναισθημάτων χωρίς να σε κουράσει ούτε ένα λεπτό.

L'Uomo Che Ama (2008)

A man is broken hearted at the loss of his lover, then later visits the same pain on the next woman with whom he becomes involved.
A very interesting low-key film, which confirms the value of Italian cinema . Simple and effective , with thoughtful direction that matches the story and wants to bring up emotions. Good script and good interpretations, beautiful music , slow languid pace, in a hazy environment in N. Italy. It unravels the imbalance in relationships (straight and gay - and the gay relationship here is better balanced), love, loneliness, yearning for life , fear of death. Some very good actors play here like "la bella" Monica Bellucci, Marisa Paredes a known muse of Almodovar's , and the excellent Pierfrancesco Favino [from Illuminati, La Sconosciuta, SATURNO CONTRO]


Μια πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα ταινία, χαμηλών τόνων, που επιβεβαιώνει την αξία τού Ιταλικού σινεμά. Απλή και ουσιαστική, με προσεγμένη σκηνοθεσία, που ταιριάζει με το στόρι και τα συναισθήματα που θέλει να προκαλέσει. Καλό σενάριο και καλές ερμηνείες, ωραία μουσική, αργός νωχελικός ρυθμός, σ' ενα μουντό περιβάλλον στο Τορίνο. Αναπτύσσει με ωραίο τρόπο την ανισορροπία στις σχέσεις [στρέητ και γκέι - κι η γκέι σχέση φαίνεται πιό ισορροπημένη], τον έρωτα, την μοναξιά, την αγάπη για την ζωή, τον φόβο τού θανάτου. Παίζουν εξαιρετικοί ηθοποιοί όπως η bella Monica Bellucci, η μούσα τού Αλμοδόβαρ Marisa Paredes, κι ο εξαιρετικός Pierfrancesco Favino [Illuminati, La Sconosciuta, SATURNO CONTRO]

Delivering a twist on trans stories, Romeos, a taut, sexy romantic drama, follows a 19-year-old pre-op FTM who falls for an openly gay man.

Lukas (played by cute male actor Rick Okon) is a handsome young man, but was born a woman. He is undergoing hormone replacement therapy, and still has breasts that he keeps bound and hidden. His new male life is complicated when he is frustratingly assigned to a female dorm while doing community service. Stressed by the unfamiliar surroundings and insecure with his new body, Lukas is aided by his lesbian friend, Ine (Liv Lisa Fries), who keeps his secret when he reenters the world as a man. Lured by Ine and his new friends, Lukas ventures into Cologne’s gay nightlife where he meets Fabio (Maximilian Befort), a cocky, dark-haired gay hunk who beds whom he pleases. The two opposites strike up a friendship, but when Fabio begins to make romantic moves, Lukas is forced into making a decision: end contact or tell him and face the consequences.

Lukas’s courage to live his life as he desires makes this a great film for trans audiences but it is also is a revelatory one for gay men. It is in essence a sexy, entertaining, if unconventional, story of two young men who fall in love.

Je T' Aime Moi Non Plus (1976)

This legendary, cult movie (and its lustful theme song, included herein) were initially banned/censored in many Catholic countries but also in some liberal ones like Sweden or the UK etc. Starring here is Joe Dallesandro, Andy Warhol's superstar and icon of gay culture in the 60s-70s. For Dallesandro, the New York Times wrote in 1968: "His physique is so magnificently shaped that men as well as women become disconnected at the sight of him" . In 2009 he received a special Teddy Bear award at the Berlin film festival.
The petite waitress Johnny works and lives in a truck-stop, where she's lonely and longs for love. She develops a crush on the garbage truck driver Krassky, although her sleazy boss Boris warns her that he's gay. Maybe because of her boyish looks, Krassky likes her too. Both don't notice the growing jealousy of Krassky's boyfriend Padovan

Αυτή η θρυλική, cult ταινία {και το συμπεριλαμβανόμενο ομώνυμο, ερωτικό τραγούδ] αρχικά είχαν απαγορευτεί/λογοκριθεί σε πολλές καθολικές χώρες αλλά και σε φιλελεύθερες όπως η Σουηδία και η Μεγ. Βρετανία. Πρωταγωνιστεί ο Joe Dallesandro, το είδωλο τού Andy Warhol και τής γκέι κουλτούρας στις δεκαετίες '60-'70. Η Johnny είναι μια σερβιτόρα που δουλεύει σε ένα σταθμό φορτηγών. Εκεί θα γνωρίσει τον Krassky έναν οδηγό απορριματοφόρου και θα τον ερωτευτεί παρά τις προειδοποιήσεις τού αφεντικού της ότι ο Krassky είναι ομοφυλόφιλος. Εξαιτίας τής ομοιότητάς της με αγόρι, ο Krassky την βρίσκει ελκυστική και μια ιδιαίτερη σχέση αναπτύσσεται μεταξύ τους, ενώ κανείς από τους δύο δεν θα προσέξει την αντίδραση τού Padovan, τού φίλου τού Krassky.

Kill Your Darlings (2013)

In the early 1940s, Alan Ginsberg is an English major in Columbia University, only to learn more than he bargained for. Ο Ουίλιαμ Σ. Μπάροουζ είχε παρατήσει την ιατρική σχολή, πρώην απεντομωτής από πόρτα σε πόρτα και ναρκομανής, που σύχναζε στο περιθώριο της μποέμικης σκηνής της Νέας Υόρκης όταν ακολούθησε τον Λούσιεν Καρ και τον Ντέιβιντ Κάμερερ, παιδικοί φίλοι από το Σεντ Λούις, στο Μαχνάταν.
