Young and Gay In Putin's Russia (2014)
When Russian President Vladimir Putin banned gay "propaganda" in June last year, Russia's LGBT community went from being a stigmatized fringe group to full-blown enemies of the state.
Homophobia becoming legislation means it’s now not only accepted in Russia but actively encouraged, which has led to a depressing rise in homophobic attacks and murders.
The main aim of the law, which essentially bans any public display of homosexuality, is to prevent minors from getting the impression that being gay is normal. Which means that, if you’re young and gay in Putin’s Russia, you’re ostracized and cut off from any kind of legal support network.
We travel to Russia ahead of February's Sochi Winter Olympics to investigate the effects of the country's state-sanctioned homophobia. We take a ride in Moscow's gay taxi service, hear about the rise of homophobic vigilante groups, and meet Yulia, who runs LGBT self-defense classes.

Κάθε βδομάδα δεκάδες gay Παλαιστίνιοι καταφέρνουν να αποδράσουν στο Ισραήλ απ όπου τους γυρίζουν πίσω, όχι σαν gay αλλά σαν Παλαιστίνιους.
Για λόγους ασφαλείας η πολιτική του Ισραήλ εξακολουθεί να στέλνει αυτούς τους ανθρώπους πίσω στα κατεχόμενα στέλνοντας τους σε βέβαιο θάνατο.

Hunted
With the Russian PR machine in high gear for the Olympics, this British documentary uncovers what's really happening to LGBT people.
A new documentary tells the story of, "The real Russia, a place where gay people are hunted like animals." And it's so eye-opening that it's being praised and shared worldwide.
Filmmakers aired Hunted on Channel 4 in Britain this week, just before the start of the Olympics in Russia, showing how they went inside the gangs that entrap LGBT people and then subject them to violent abuse. In one scene early in the film, attackers head to an LGBT film festival and cameras are along to record their particular brand of intimidation. It gets worse from there. Despite numerous stories out of Russia about intimidation, little has captured what it's like to live through it.

Bridegroom (2013)
To BRIDEGROOM είναι το συναισθηματικό ταξίδι δυο ερωτευμένων αγοριών που είχαν σχέση.Μια σχέση που διακόπηκε απότομα όταν ο ένας έπεσε από μια ταράτσα ενώ φωτογράφιζε μια φίλη του.
Η ιστορία αναφέρεται στην νεαρή ζωή των αγοριών και τις δυσκολίες του να είσαι gay σε μια επαρχιακή πόλη, στην αντιμετώπιση των γονιών και το πως αντιμετωπίζονται οι άνθρωποι που δεν είναι νομικά καλυμένοι στην σχέση τους, ανοίγοντας ένα παράθυρο στο θέμα του gay γάμου με τέτοιο τρόπο που ίσως καμμια ομιλία δεν μπορεί.
Στις 7 Μαίου του 2012 έναν χρόνο μετά τον θάνατο του Τομ ο Σέιν αποφάσισε να κάνει ένα βίντεο αφιέρωμα στον σύντροφό του με τον τίτλο "It Could Happen To You."που είχε στο YouTube πάνω από 4.4 εκκατομύρια θεάσεις και ενέπνευσε πάνω από 50.000 μέιλ και σχόλια στο YouTube και στο
Facebook. Ο αντίκτυπος της ταινίας του Σέιν και οι ευαίσθητες χορδές που άγγιξε μας λέει μια ιστορία,άξια να μεταδοθεί σε ολόκληρο τον κόσμο.

In October 6th 2013 Dalston Superstore, Culture Device, The queer archive and TEDxHackney presented a day of talks on a subject close to our hearts. Most news-conscious people are all too aware of the current anti-LGBT atrocities being committed in Russia. With the Winter Olympics rapidly approaching and potentially putting both fans and athletes in real personal danger, now is the time for action.
As the host borough for the Olympics last year, Hackney is an ideal place for discussions on this subject to take place.
TEDxHackney, Dalston Superstore, The Queer Archive and Culture Device collaborated to create an event to tackle the humanitarian crisis of the LGBT community of Russia featuring a whole host of influential speakers, activists, and artists to look into this crisis and help find a solution and raise awareness.

Documentary/Historical retrospective of the Gay Rights movement from the 1969 Stonewall riots to the present.
Σαράντα χρόνια πριν, οι λεσβίες και οι γκέι της Αμερικής -μια ιδιαίτερα κλειστή, κατακερματισμένη και περιθωριοποιημένη κοινότητα- βίωσε ένα βαθύ σημείο καμπής. Στις 27 Ιουνίου του 1969, ημερομηνία γέννησης του σύγχρονου κινήματος για τα δικαιώματα των γκέι, οι ομοφυλόφιλοι, αμφιφυλόφιλοι και οι τρανστζέντερ του μπαρ Stonewall στη Νέα Υόρκη, ενώθηκαν αυθόρμητα και αντέδρασαν δυναμικά στις μακροχρόνιες παρενοχλήσεις της αστυνομίας, στους εμπαιγμούς και στις συλλήψεις. Το "Μετά το Stonewall" καταγράφει την ιστορία των λεσβιών και των γκέι μετά τις συγκρούσεις στο Stonewall. Από την εμφάνιση, τη δεκαετία του '70, του Απελευθερωτικού Κινήματος των Γκέι και των φεστιβάλ γυναικείας μουσικής, μέχρι την επίθεση του AIDS, το γεμάτο παλμό κίνημα των GAY GAMES και τη μεγάλη προβολή που δόθηκε στο δημόσιο coming out της Ellen DeGeneres, το "After Stonewall" παρουσιάζει μια ιστορία συγκινητική, προκλητική και αντάξια των εμπειριών των λεσβιών και των γκέι που καθόρισαν με τη δράση τους αυτή την εποχή. Το ντοκιμαντέρ συλλαμβάνει τις στιγμές του αγώνα με τις ήττες και τους θριάμβους μιας περήφανης κι όμως ακόμη στιγματισμένης κοινότητας. Η ταινία καταγράφει τις προσωπικές διηγήσεις των γκέι και των λεσβιών που μεταμόρφωσαν όχι μόνο τις δικές τους ζωές αλλά και την αμερικανική κοινωνία και την παγκόσμια κοινότητα. Οι ιστορίες που διηγούνται περισσότεροι από 200 άνθρωποι από όλα τα πεδία του αγώνα παρακίνησαν το ευρύτερο κοινό να αμφισβητήσει τις δικές του θεμελιώδεις αρχές όσον αφορά την οικογένεια, την εργασία, και τις σχέσεις. Η ταινία αυτή κάνει εμφανή τη βαθιά επίδραση των γκέι και των λεσβιών στη διαμόρφωση του 20ου αιώνα και της σύγχρονης ζωής μας.

“Harlow Cuadra” – This is the only episode devoted to one subject. Harlow Cuadra has gone from porn sets to prison for allegedly killing an adult gay film producer. During this hour we are taken behind bars to visit Harlow in order to gain an exclusive look at his side of the story. Harlow gives us his account of how he got wrapped up in the business and where things went wrong.
